... over to the Anne Frank House. The line ups are long for this place, usually about three hours during the day but the tour guide from our bus told us to arrive around six o'clock for a shorter wait which we did and we ended up waiting just over an hour! If you are planning to visit Amsterdam please make time for this museum. It is worth every minute you wait in line. The museum is the actual place where Anne and her family hid during WWII. bar we were joined by Richard a South African travelling solo, we recruited him
for another drink at Wynand Fockink, a dutch gin-makers room dating from 1679.
There is a picture on Facebook taking our liquor as the locals do by first

... inspection, she commented "This is France!" Enough said. We dragged our luggage to the Basillica Metro station and headed to Gare du Nord for our train connection to Amsterdam. It was actually a pleasant and relaxing ride which took around 3 hours. After each stop (Brussels, Antwerp, Rotterdam), the stewardess came around and offered snacks.
