Saturday 27th June- we left Paris about 8.00am by bus to make the journey across to Amsterdam. The trip was 500k's plus and took 8 hours, including 90 mins with planned stops, and other unexpected bus break downs- the air brakes would not release. ... was hard work today but I got there. Another wine was called for. We had an excellent dinner at the hotel. It was a Best Western. Cheryl had chicken and vegies and I had rib eye steak and vegies. Meals were huge. 8 euros and 10 euros respectively. The hotel had put us in a room with a queen bed. We tried to change to a twin but we would have had to move rooms again tomorrow and we couldn't be bothered with that so the 2 old girls shared a bed! Lucky neither of us snores too ...
