My parents don't stop, they are amazing... like the bees in the lavender, they never stop... their garden is a marvel... after watering a bit and moving things around, he grilled some meat and we ate dinner while they are watching basketball play offs.

Tomorrow I am off to Corvallis for a mini reunion with amigos from Oregon State University back to the Gap on Monday.

    Life is good!

It took us to the Mendocino Coast and the town of Fort Bragg (not to be confused with its perhaps more famous, maybe infamous, namesake in North Carolina, home to many US Army Special Ops outfits). We bought some diesel there, even getting a bit of a discount on the pump price on presentation of our previous Safeway ...

... country as many times as he did with his 9 kids...it wasn't always smooth sailing or glorious conditions, but ue had his family (and toolbox) by his side and I think he was a better person for the experiences he had. And oh the memories!! I have my own, but I continue hearing more about the ones I wasn't around yet to experience! Thank you Grampa for giving me the desire for the open road. I look forward to passing down the legacy!!
