This mostly meant cutting the roots and cleaning the dirt from any underground-growing veggies and dumping the leafy greens into tubs of water to clean them, as well and make it easier to pick out grass and insects. As the trip comes to an end it seems bittersweet and sad to say goodbye. Goodbye to 10 of the most amazing people I have ever had the opportunity to know. While it really isn't goodbye because we will see each other again it is the end of our journey. We won't wake in the morning complaining about the rooster or share a hug, thought or prayer.
