    Hooray for summer!! Now let the travel stress begin. We love going on vacation but I tend to getting really amped up until I'm sitting by a pool in the sun. Up at 5:15am to work on grad school, Caden's preschool graduation (and I didn't cry), Tyler's last day of school (Wohoooo) and then pack,pack, pack. Oh don't forget my impromptu Target trip because apparently I needed even more stuff. And a cruise through the new Starbucks drive ...

    ... sleep on our overnight trek from Depew to Chicago) then Sunday Audrey Laura and I rode the L back to downtown ("the loop") to visit millennium park and Chicago's famous Art Institute, and had some delicious vegan food at a new chain called native foods cafe downtown. In the interest of brevity and to spare my thumbs I'll spare you the minute details and go straight to the pictures! Were also almost in St Paul, so I have time constraints ...

    ... upset about it. It was my choice. The
    unfortunate realization that comes with this, is that so many others
    have had the same experience. As a society, we have 'worked' ourselves
    into anti-depressants, anxiolytics, and a miserable existence. Get up,
    work, come home, eat, go to bed. Over and over. If we want to truly make
    an impact, doesn't that mean we should impact our own lives too?

    ... to as "Ole Red" - is hanging in there. We're driving him very gently, avoiding quick starts and stops and staying at about 62 mph on the highway. There were some very disconcerting noises coming from the undercarriage in Woodbury, but I guess it fixed itself. Don't you just love that, when they fix themselves?
