Just north of Charlotte we went through a thunderstorm with strong winds and hail. It was so bad that some cars were pulling off under the overpasses to avoid the hail. I never knew how much planning it would take to prepare to live in another country for half a year and I have yet to pack my suitcase (which I am not sure how I will be able to fit everything I need into a suitcase for 5 months). Now I am being hit with the excitement and the fact that this is actually happening. Costa Rica here I come!

... gardens. After that we headed back to CT and P's daughter R's place for a quick rest before heading out to watch their son A play soccer. It was a pretty fun game to watch, but unfortunately A's team lost.

After the game we headed back to Waxhaw, it was quite late by this time, but we were getting peckish, so we stopped off the interstate and got some Bojangles biscuits for dinner on the way.
