    27th of August - we are finally starting our travelling and leaving Ballibay. With 2 huge rucksags, handluggage, additional carrierbags (as we ran out of space in the big luggage) and a lapsteel guitar (Yes, a lapsteel guitar as John decided to take one that was to be thrown out as it is broken beyond all belief and try to resurrect it on the road, as if we did not enough things to carry) we left Camp at 4:45 in the morning to start our 30-hour journey ...

    ... of Michigan so take us on a tour of the campus. We pass the big M on the quad in front of the library. We are told that the story is if you walk over the M it means you will fail your exams. We see the law buildings, they are tall grey buildings with greenery growing on them. Its quite a pretty campus.     ... to spend our last day on the road. We would not have time to stop at the Indiana Dunes State Park (our originally planned break time location). We plowed through, and once we got to Indiana, traffic began to lighten. We only drove through the upper left corner of the state before we hit Michigan and were finally on home turf.
