After driving up from Lake City, we spent a great weekend with Jamie and Kristen. They made a turkey dinner for us with all the trimmings and we relaxed at their house on Saturday. On Sunday we drove out to the Chickamauga Battlefield National Park, watched a video and toured the park. ... campus is picturesque, foliage on the ground, rocking chairs sitting out on a verandah and just a nice quiet place. Jacob takes us to the Gymnasium where the women's basketball team is having a shoot around. Today we left Chattanooga and headed down Nickajack Lake. It is really more of a river than a lake. It passes through what is called the Grand Canyon of the east coast. Basically it is a gorge created by a rift that shifted the flow of the Tennessee River into what is now called the Sequatchie Valley.
