This worked fine for us as the hotel shuttle was perfect and the room fine. The hotel is however under major refurbishment and was using adjacent businesses for breakfast & food. You needed to cope with paint & cleaning smells in corridors - no big deal for us.
    Don't expect to walk anywhere.

We were politely asked to forget the above mentioned considerations when the anthem started. The idea of sharing my thoughts at this moment did cross my mind but I thought better of it. When in Rome and all that.

The afternoon we decide to take a different trolley tour route and head out to Wrigley Field home of the Chicago Cubs. Arriving late in the afternoon and mindful of the last bus back to town we decide to take the tour of 100 year old ball park. Again with ...

... Big Time Sarah. This women had a scratchy, strong blues voice and a great sense of humour. She sang a few really good songs then proceeded to diss a man who was out celebrating his divorce...was very funny. After a few beers, plenty of laughs and some good blues we headed off home satisfied with a huge, busy day in Chicago satisfied we had gained some local knowledge and experienced what the locals do. Tonight was our last in Chicago sadly but we felt with the time we've had we've made the most of ...

The Pritzker Pavilion was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and is acoustically near-perfect; the rest of the park has bridges and sculptures all designed to block traffic noise and make the park more peaceful. On weekends, free workout classes are done in the park, and huge crowds come to eat lunch every day. The most popular sculpture is known as 'The ...
