This worked fine for us as the hotel shuttle was perfect and the room fine. The hotel is however under major refurbishment and was using adjacent businesses for breakfast & food. You needed to cope with paint & cleaning smells in corridors - no big deal for us.
    Don't expect to walk anywhere.

First thing, we walked Dallas a little looking for a reasonable breakfast (i.e. not fried/donuts) and eventually found a nice café. Also saw the restored Pegasus on the old Mobil building.
Took the light railway to the airport (dubious goings on at the stop) and a transfer bus to sort our plane. DFW is a big airport.

Our shared, tapas-style mains that followed included coffee roasted beets, shrimp bruschetta (avocado, toasted pistachio, grapefruit, ...

Woke up this morning to snow falling outside - surreal and sensational way to start the day. My wonderful husband made coffee and brought me yoghurt and pandora in bed and we rushed out the door to the day spa. Here I indulged in an hour massage, pedicure and manicure. What a way to have a birthday! When I finished we headed over to the french markets for some local produce and a yummy ...

So a lot has happened since my last update back in NYC. I might even keep updating this entry as I read into my diary and remember more that happened. Mike arrived in NYC the day before we departed which was tuesday the 10th of september. ME and mike then drove to Williamsport PA, where we stayed with Mike's aunt and uncle. We enjoyed lots of wine and were fed a delicous chicken parm dinner. Not Much to report about this particular part of the ...

... were huge! I imagined for a minute what it would be like to come face to face with these animals in the wild and I can tell you it would be terrifying!! I quickly shake that feeling off.

Inside Ancient Egypt was also interesting. I'm quite into mummies and the like and this exhibit had it all. I was however very surprised by the amount of children mummies they have. This I found quite upsetting, seeing their little bodies all wrapped up.

    Definitely saw all ...
