This worked fine for us as the hotel shuttle was perfect and the room fine. The hotel is however under major refurbishment and was using adjacent businesses for breakfast & food. You needed to cope with paint & cleaning smells in corridors - no big deal for us.
Don't expect to walk anywhere.

First thing, we walked Dallas a little looking for a reasonable breakfast (i.e. not fried/donuts) and eventually found a nice café. Also saw the restored Pegasus on the old Mobil building.
Took the light railway to the airport (dubious goings on at the stop) and a transfer bus to sort our plane. DFW is a big airport.

... Big Time Sarah. This women had a scratchy, strong blues voice and a great sense of humour. She sang a few really good songs then proceeded to diss a man who was out celebrating his divorce...was very funny.
