Planned to do a 9.5km walk in Yanchep National Park but showers predicted for the day we decided to enjoy an early lunch at Portofino at Quinn's Rock. With Diane at work, Blair and I shopped and cooked dinner with Steve lighting the webber for a lamb ...

Fremantle to River Moore Rest area
We finally left Fremantle and the Old Fire Station 2 days later than planned but this was unavoidable. It was a very enjoyable Saturday driving to and exploring Swan Valley. Though it was a hot day, we tasted some wines at Lancaster Winery and Ugly Duckling Winery, before searching for port.

Lancaster was beautiful. There was an outdoor tasting bar and we were poured tasting glasses from a aussie bloke with shoulder length, curly red hair. He was friendly and pretty passionate about the wines.
