We took Route 40 to Casey - a small town that had decided to get itself on the map by achieving World Records for the largest Rocking Chair, Wind chimes, pencil, golf tee, knitting needles and crochet hook! Here is the rocking chair.

After this, we tried to find the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site. I had assumed Abe lived in this ...

Happy birthday to my love and my favorite clown, John! We celebrated after the show with wine, junk food, and four episodes of "Girls". A very lovely day which would have only been lovelier if we could have spent it with friends and family back home. But everyone sent John wonderful birthday greetings throughout the entire day, so I know we weren't far from people's thoughts. :)

A short drive down the road and we were in Arthur where we had 2 hours to wander the shops (one street long) for some bargains. I found an old quilt in Yoders Lamps and Antiques so of course I had to have it!!!! It's in great condition...white background with double Irish ...
