      We decided to go to the Whistle Stop Pub to have dinner. Dylan had a bison burger and I had a BLT. I had assumed that Hinton where Jen lives was just near Jasper, but it was actually another 1.5 hours away! lol :-p

      ... a teenage conspiracy at this point. If I had my way we would have stayed at Pocahontas campground (a Provincial Campground) - a little more rustic, but probably a little more scenic; however I will say that where we ended up is quite beautiful.       ... She got back safely.

      More great views this morning and we pull into Johnson Canyon for a quick stop. The stream is really rushing, we take a few pictures and off we go.

      Just down the road a bus is pulled over. That means animals ahead. OH a bear is crossing the road. Great pictures. Now everyone is stopping, log jam on the Parkway now. More great mountain views with some weather ahead.

      Next we went to Lake Louise. There was still ice on Lake Louise so it was hard to see the beautiful robin’s egg blue glacial water. All the streams and lakes have that same glacial turquoise coloring. We went into the Fairmont Hotel at Lake Louise.
