We continued on to Jasper at 3600 feet and found Jasper Park Lodge (Canads's most popular golf resort). This too was a beautiful area. Once back on the main road towards Hinton for the night a random glance into a lake Derek noticed yet another carabou, but this one was half swimming - even he thinks it's too hot in Canada at the moment! So now we are waiting in hope that these storm clouds will go away through the night so we get a small chance of seeing the northern lights. Wishful thinking but you can only hope so fingers ...

... in munching dandelions and small bushes along the edge of the road. They totally ignored the cars that had stopped to watch.

We were greeted by a herd of Mountain sheep, many of them this year's crop of lambs. They were roaming freely around the parking lot. We checked out the interpretive signage and after talking to a few people found the path to the hot springs. Again we walked past the site of a large landslide that had ...
