The various owls and raptors in their aviaries were fascinating, and they also had some slender tailed meerkats, and some ferrets, which were all very amusing. They also have an Owl Hospital which treats injured birds, mostly they are injured on the roads.
After a few days getting acquainted with London we hired a car from Kings Cross (challenging enough) and headed north east to Suffolk via some cute English villages (and fun navigating the roads without GPS!). Our purpose was to visit 88 year old Aunty Pat (AP) Roe’s adopted aunt - Lesley’s real aunt who lives in Aldeburgh.
