We awoke so happy to have had electricity last night since it got pretty cold. We were told that it was 34 degrees last night. Our little electric heater made all the difference. Our gas furnace has not been reliable at all. We have some repairs to do and are hoping we can do that when we get to Massachusetts where we have to pick up the air conditioner cover replacement as well.

... the trail was fresh and of pine and the trail lead to a neat bog boardwalk (next time I'll bring Mark and my fishing pole).
That evening I decided to try popovers part 2 using almond milk and only 2 egg yolks. The bread was still a little doughy, but overall delicious. While these puffy pastries are satisfying, I'm craving the real deal at Jordan Pond when we take Mark's parents next week.
