Today has been a very long day: both miles traveled & hours awake! Somehow we managed to stay awake last night in West Monroe, Louisiana long enough (1 am) to watch the Spurs eek out a victory over the Clippers! Even with very little sleep we got up early . We headed over to the Duck Commander office as soon as it opened to take a couple pictures & buy some souvenirs for our friends that watch "Duck Dynasty." We looked for Willie, ...

No restaurants in Lina June's little town of Byers Texas, so had to drive 1/2 hour to a truck stop, just over the border in Oklahoma- so got to enter another state. Had beautiful nachos with cheese and tomatoes. When we got back to Byers, we continued talking till 1am. I videoed Linda June and Marie telling funny stories about their lives growing up. It was so much fun being ...

The walls were plastered in pictures from the show and there was a small area off in a corner of the restaurant where t-shirts, aprons, and a few other items could be purchased. The food was filling and it was time to once again hit the road, this time with my co-pilot at the ...

... Mom - we were chatting about our kid's intense medical history, etc. She was encouraged to create a brochure about her son's syndrome, medical history, etc. Believe me, there are times when it's much easier to hand a brochure instead of asking the medical professional, "do you have a week....?" She carries them with her in her bag. I think it's even a good idea to have everywhere we go!
