How did I manage to make it to adulthood?

... accommodation voucher and driving reference in separate poly pockets, arranged chronologically in one slim, professional-looking file. All for nothing. Because I left it there. On the chair. Eighty miles away at this point. Nothing like a sudden drama to make you reconsider whether it's safe for you to travel halfway across the planet without a ...

I waited around in the airport for about 5 hours until I boarded my final flight. When I got on, it was extremely quiet, I had a row to myself, as well as the rows surrounding me! The flight was so quiet, it was easy to sleep as everyone had a row to lie down on. I watched a few films, had some naps and are the food and drink that was brought to me. It may have been ...

All the accommodation is booked in the relevant locations and we have booked our day trip to Alcatraz, very excited about this. Jimmer found a music & food festival that is taking place ...

... left to my room, fought with the internet, and resigned myself to bed.

Tomorrow I think I might go out grocery shopping in the morning for a few spare items, make bread, and see Sarah, maybe here, maybe out on picnic. Chances are there are useful things I'll get done in the early morning, or at least try to.

I desperately miss people at home right now.
