... way up to Zürichsee today, but the small (15 km) dertour took a couple of grains and a bit of time. But now we know that you have to take the valley to the left if you're in Sargans, not to follow the red signs blindly.

The right turnoff brings you to a fascinating route along the Walensee with a lot of lakeside view, bike-only tunnels and lots of industrial area with stuff to ...

... the way down from the mountains. I thought " Yaa, these little tunnels...piece of cake, no problem bru"
The results: Stef was positively surprised after the first tunnel, I was blown away from the dust, the cars and the volume levels a normal car can produce in a tunnel. It's LOUD, and there is less air going through then through a chain smokers lungs!

this big spiral section of road goes right into a tunnel and heads deep down

Now found this hotel, and again it seems I struck gold.
I was in a place called Chur, found some wifi, and had a look at what was about?
Now to say it was a good price, to say I was lucky cos they had only been doing online bookings for 3 days, but best was the ride up, so bendy and now I'm high above the village/town and can't wait for breakfast and the ride down.
Got in the room, made friends with my hosts, had a few ...

Wanted to stop but, the only car park was full, the one street already had four motorbikes parked outside the only pub, and the McDonalds seat was taken, and the local hooker had already pulled the mayor!
Obviously all thats a joke, but I did get through it quite quickly, and wanted to find somewhere to stay.
