    ... only non-fast food restaurant (that we could find out about). Ruby's Cafe is situated on the old main street---a stark contrast to the continuous strip mall of the main highway through town. This may have been out in the middle of nowhere, but the food was excellent. I ate the grilled shrimp, and it was possibly the best shrimp I ever ate anywhere. If you're ever in Eunice, Louisiana.....

    Today we stopped at Paragon Casino in Marksville, LA. They have a very nice rv resort next to the casino with shuttle service back and forth. We got in and set up, met some neighbors from Baton Rouge, determined the cable didn't work, so packed back up and moved to another spot. All was well there.
