... looks like outside my house on a typical January day in the arctic cold of Minnesota. They are forecasting our high temperature next Monday and Tuesday to be -2 degrees! I can't wait to take some pictures of the tropical weather I will soon be experiencing!

As I said, I have been driving my butt off, simply because - just how much corn in the fields do you really need to see, so I havent been stopping to take too my pictures in the last few days.
Tonite, I am writing from Battle Creek, Michigan and tomorrow I will be going thru the Detroit/Windsor, Ontario Tunnels, heading toward Buffalo ( Go Bills ! ) and then to Vermont

Last night and tonight we stayed with the Thorsons, and man I am SO blessed. It blows my mind how much I feel at home here. These people have just taken me in as one of their own and its just the best feeling in the world. I love being here.
I'm learning a lot about family. The family we have in Christ is SO much MORE than anything this world has to offer. Thank you Jesus for blessing me with all these wonderful people.
... into it, we had five times more bites than we had received in the first three days combined. We must have been quite a sight, dancing and flailing around, trying to keep the mosquitos off us and then giggling uncontrollably because we looked so ridiculous; it's a wonder we got the tent up at all! I'm off tomorrow on a bicycle tour of northern Minnesota and Wisconsin; if all goes well I'll keep right on pedaling until I get to the Pacific Ocean. It's my first bike tour, and I'll be doing it alone and unsupported.
Tomorrow morning could be interesting, as we got several inches of rain this afternoon. The thunderstorms are supposed to keep popping up for the next few days, so I'll just cross my fingers and hope my new tent is waterproof.
