Early start, on the road by 6.30am. Bye bye SLO, off to Solvang for breakfast at Paula's Pancake House. We got there at 7.30, just before rush hour by the looks of it, by 7.45 there was a line for a table! Solvang is a very picturesque little dutch town in the middle of the California. It's quite a cool, fun place but the food available there is typical American junk food! We rode on the Ferris wheel and got a nice little view of Muscle Beach and the surrounding area. Walked down the pier and looked over the ocean too but it was a little chilly! We then drove down to Venice and had lunch at an organic, vegan and macrobiotic ...
