... Pre-checked again so didn't have to take my shoes off again. Still had an hour and 15 min to wait, so went to a coffee shop and had a hot chocolate while writing this message. Soon time to board for Canada. Was a very tiny plane - just 16 seats, 1 seat either side of the middle aisle and no separation from the pilots. Some noisy children were asked to move to the back of the plane and not allowed to sit behind the pilots. Was a very noisy plane, both from ...

Today is the last day here with Cindy. Another 5 children today - Faith (4), Serenity (5), Gwen (4), Jackson (20 months), Jimmy (9 months). All different personalities but mostly play well together. Jim washed the dog (Buddy) this morning. Buddy tried to go the other way, but in the end enjoyed his bath. The kids played together well so was a very happy ...

Cindy had 5 children come to day. Jimmy (9 months), Ella (20 months), Addy (4), Faith (4) and Serenity (5). The older girls play together really well - most of the time - with younger ones needing more 1-1 interaction with adults. Cindy is busy all the day with doing things for the children - changing nappies, preparing lunch, cleaning up, feeding the babies, putting to bed, organising games and mediating squabbles with ...

We all went to their Methodist Church this morning. A lovely friendly church with people to greet you at the door, name tags for the new Pastor to get to know you and members who come and talk to someone new. They had a modern band to play along while people sang - guitars, drums and lead singers - with the words displayed on a screen. Then we went home and Cindy began fixing lunch because her son ,James, his wife (Jessica) and their sons (Jacob and Jackson) ...

    Sauder Pioneer Village

Today we went to a Pioneer Village 1 and 1/2 hours from Findlay. Cindy's mum came with us for the day. I met her last time I was here and she's really nice. First we went to Crackerbarrel for breakfast. This is a western type restaurant with lots of old pioneering things hanging on the walls. They also have a wonderful gift shop area. I had French toast filled with cream cheese and topped with 3 berries sauce and more berries. Scrumptious! Then headed to ...
