    ... not bother to take any photos, and took a few naps in the car.

    We drove through the Turnbull NWR - did not have the energy to walk the trails. It's the middle of the day and we did not see any wildlife. Probably everyone was sleeping. We then drove east on Cheney Plaza road which joins Rt 195 S. Our goal was to find the Chestnut hill outside of Palouse then head to the top of Steptoe Butte for sunset.     ... to our delight they were!! Then we saw it a whole row of pool tables, our minds were made up, pool and a burger it was!! The food was on happy hour so for the two of us with drinks the total came to $14. The food was not the best, especially compared to the awesome meals we had in Hood River, but for 14 bucks you can't complain!     ... waiting for a train to pass under us. It was terrifyingly cool waiting under the stars and not really knowing what to expect, but again it did not disappoint.
