Day 16 - The Monte Carlo

Cannes
... so had to run
to catch another train bound for Nice which was of course packed. I was crammed
in a corner but managed to dose off, being dark there was nothing exciting to
view from the window and my iPod battery was dead. By the end of this I was not
impressed by the French railway system and wondering why on earth everyone
talks about the TGV etc as if it’s amazing......

We return to the ancestral manse
