A beautiful sunrise dappled a blue sky with rich pink clouds and suggested a fine day ahead. We planned to have an early breakfast at the hotel so that sightseeing could begin in earnest at the earliest opportunity. Breakfast was interesting. After having dinner at the local Thai restaurant, we joined Bob and Betsy in their front garden and tried to make a dent in Bob's prized cellar which houses wines from Italy and France as well as the local stuff. As a welcome gift he gave us a nice bottle of Bordeaux which we enjoyed the evening before.
