We left the lovely forest of Hope RV Park and headed off to Vancouver to return the "turtle truck". It rained all the way and was quite difficult to see at times because of all the splashes caused by the trucks. But Jenny did her usual "Ice-Trucker"driving and got us to Vancouver unscathed.

Knowing that I'm indefinitely leaving all my family, friends and familiar home comforts drains my emotions and beats skip in my heart. Saying goodbye to my parents at the airport was the hardest and left me in tear sobs. Coming back has only reiterated my fortune of having such wonderful loves in my life. Seattle is only a plane ride away though and home in Australia awaits ...

... underground passageways led by a humorous guide for ninety minutes. An excellent informative tour, the highlight of which for me was that during a census taken in the late 1800's it was found that Seattle was the fashion capital of the world. Yes, you can forget Paris, London and New York as the worlds fashion barometers. Over ten percent of population were women who had marked their occupation as "seamstress," and funnily enough they all lived in the same downtown area.....know what ...
