... the birds. After their chicks are almost ready to fly, the adults wait for a good breeze and take off for South America leaving the young behind. A few weeks later the kids are able to join the parents.
The final treat of the day was dinner at a good Japanese restaurant.
Thinking of the albatross, perhaps South America will be next our our travel list.

... deze pinguins op land hartstikke veilig. Hierdoor zijn ze aggressief naar elkaar geworden en zijn ze solitair gaan leven. Toen de kolonisten uit Europa kwamen hebben deze allerlei beesten meegenomen om mee te jagen en om te houden zoals, honden, katten, fretten, hermelijnen etc..
