... return home. We were thrilled to say the least. We stayed at the Alpine Lodge in Mt. Shasta, solid establishment and certainly one of the most well priced hotels in town. This has been a nice relaxing place to zero and catch up on all the blogs entries that need attention. Thanks Mt. ...

After a while, since I knew we had to drive home, I decided we had to go. We exchanged contact information with the two men, and started to head back down the meadow. On the hike back, this time it was Dad who was really tired and struggling, But somehow I had really regained my energy and I had no problems with the hike back, I think because of eating lunch and from receiving a healing from ...

We started the day by going to the headwaters of the Sacramento River, which starts right in the city of Mount Shasta, at the base of the mountain. You can drink the water there because it comes right from the ground, so there is nothing to contaminate it yet. I filled up my water bottle and jug and used this water for my day. It was cool to see the start of the Sacramento River, which is a huge river that flows right ...
