The hussle and bussle of the coast has finally given way to a lush rural coutryside and smaller unique coast towns. This is the Australia that I was looking for. The people here dont greet you with the stereotypical greeting of "gday". Rather than that they use the phrase "Ow-ya-Gaowin"( how ya going). The train broke down twice and had some very interesting characters on board one guy was removed from the train!! We eventually arrived at Coffs an hour late to find a very deserted train station. A very ...

... music and a drink, very close to the beach. Woke up with a sore head and straight on a bus tour to Nimbin, the hippy town. Well it was kill or cure as I bumped into a few Geordies I met the night before so before I know it I'm sipping a cold one. The bus driver Jim was a legend!! He told us so many stories and was very knowledgeable about the area. We finally got to Nimbin and it was pretty busy for a small town, I wonder why. The hippy museum in the centre was pretty funny ...
