Had some pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tues and went to bed, rock and roll,ha....in a proper bedroom though,yey!! The next day we took a stroll down to the town and went to the jetty area which was a little dissapointing so glad we were only staying the one night!!! Catching a few rays by the pool too as sunshine is a rareity for us!!! x

After leaving Byron Bay, we needed to find a picnic spot and found one on grass by a creek, where we had a splendid lunch with no one around. The benefits of the camper van were quite clear as a quiet after lunch snooze was easy to do. The rain had started just before midnight last night and for only the 2nd time we had to pack up in the wet which isn't a lot of fun. Of course by the time we drove out of the caravan park the rain had stopped. ... in silence for several hours on the pacific highway and seeing absolutely nothing we arrived in Coffs Harbour in the dark so I have no idea what it is actually like here cos I can't see! Think I've already decided that this trip is a mistake and that the best thing to do is go back to Sydney and transfer the van into Asrins name, get my bond money back and just get an earlier flight to Singapore but I'll see how it goes tomorrow
