    ... last night seem to have pretty much cured it. We spent the later part of the afternoon taking a scenic drive (I got us lost but it was pretty!) to the 'Never Never' watering holes which are beautiful. The countryside surrounding us was stunning - huge mountainous, tumbling hills covered with trees which gave off the most beautiful blue haze - I believe it's the eucalyptus reacting with the sunlight but need to look it up to be sure.     ... to the car right now!!’ The leech was quickly dealt with (a flick of the finger, as directed on the warning signs) and there were no further ‘encounters’ on the way back up the trail.

    On the way back we stopped for a little ‘window browsing’ in a quaint mountain village called Bellingen and then stopped at the resort’s restaurant for a nice curry dinner.

    ... at the venue about an hour before the ceremony was due to start, so enjoyed catch ups with friends we hadn't seen since well before leaving for Perth. The wedding was a lovely affair - a short and sweet ceremony, followed by a cocktail-style reception. We enjoyed asian-inspired nibbles throughout.
