Lovely start to Christmas Day. All slept in a bit instead of rushing off to lifts. Opened presents to normal joy and fanfare. Goes to show you don't need big gifts to have fun. Kids had left out notes, carrots, drinks and nibbles and still enjoy reading Father Christmas' replies. I seriously cannot believe I am going to be traveling so soon! It seems like just yesterday we were having our last trip meeting that marked 3 weeks till we leave. Now it's 4 days. I'm just shocked. I can't wait to do this on my own. It's one thing to have your parents with you, but I'm doing this all on my own. It's going to be a weird feeling not having them with me... ... They also have these awesome Dr. Seuss artwork, both paintings and sculptures. Yang wasn't a fan but then she has never heard of Dr. Seuss before, so understandably, they do look "kiddish".
Other than that, the day was a quiet, peaceful, relaxing one. I've been contacting this possible snowboard instructor in JH which will be great for Yang if I can sort it out.
Then, as time and wine on hand permits, de-stem the cilantro, add all ingredients (heck even some of the wine! Why not?!) and pulse in the processor or blender.
May sound odd, but this is a yummy, cheap pesto to have on hand. Impress your friends!
