Mileage: 10 miles Altitude Gain:1500 ft. Today we awoke at beautiful Susie lake. We both were sick of instant oatmeal so we didn't eat much for breakfast. The climb up to Aloha Lake was pretty fast I think the "horses could smell the barn". We stopped at the lake striped to our skivvies an dove into the crystal blue waters. It was bracing but swimable! I seriously cannot believe I am going to be traveling so soon! It seems like just yesterday we were having our last trip meeting that marked 3 weeks till we leave. Now it's 4 days. I'm just shocked. If it hadn’t have been for Jess seeing the wall post we would have never met up with Michelle, so it was lucky that I did it that way.
Michelle came over to the campground around 5:30pm or so. We hung out at our site for a while catching up ...
