... market. On the lot was a rusted mining boom truck with a tree growing out of the boom. The women sold the vehicle to help fund their venture little realising that the truck had been the inspiration for the character Matar in Disney's Cars movie. Upon realising this, they quickly bought the truck back and amended their plans for a farmer's market to restore the gas station as a cafe and gift shop. An interesting day today. Started with the biggest rocking chair ever, then a number of old towns, cafes, trading posts and diners. Visited Red Oak 2 which is a collection of old buildings brought together a bit like St Fagans. Found a Box Turtle on the road -these have a hinged carapace at front and back which means its head and feet can be completely enclosed. Had a Mexican meal tonight but not sure ...
