... which is a very very steep narrow street village on the sea. The streets are cobblestones and no vehicles can get down. The use sledges to transport their food and other requirements. The village is owned by a John Rouse who family has been there for hundreds of years. It was extra busy as there was a crab food festival on. Definitely a must to visit. We came into Looe on the high tide at 14:30 and tied up at the visitor's berth on West Looe quay. Most of the afternoon was spent unloading the boat as Kantara is going back to Polruan on Monday to be lifted out of the water for the winter.
