... From Cheddar we headed towards Glastonbury, hoping to catch a sight of the Tor. Indeed it was visible from a ridge in the landscape from some miles distant. We kept going through Glastonbury village following the National Trust signs for the Tor. Although we're both members of the Trust and can get in for free, again we didn't want to have to park the car, get out and walk some distance to obtain a picture, especially as the NT are past masters of placing their car parks ...

Dear all, We are in Plymouth tonight and head off to Stone Henge (again) and then to London. Then once we arrive at our hotel we will get ready to go out to the West end theatre area of London to see play War Horse! Today we woke up and it was raining...in England. Unbelievable!

Anyway, we had breakfast and then Mum made us do some homework. So boring!

Slapton is a village in Devon, England. It is located near the A379 road ...

... with reception. Restaurant closed though so just a 'cold plate' for us. Not my type of food - luckily I have a cookie left! Then up to the room. Totally adequate, but noise from the adjacent bar. But fully functional wifi - worked straight away, good signal. Soon we were both at war! We were soon down in the bar, acclimatising! Good wifi signal again. Sitting outside, a slight chill in the air but warm enough at ...

Off we go to our B&B. We are only here one night on route to Portsmouth. In the morning we take a walk down by the sea. They have a nice little pedestrian area where you can stroll along as well. It is another nice day and the dogs are all out playing in the surf. Dogs are prohibited from the beach from May to September, but it is October now and it is play time for puppies.
