... bitten dust once.
Anyway, this is my first blog entry and I will keep on adding (hopefully) during my upcoming trip to India. Stay tuned......
Just in case if my manager is reading this entry (I am doing this during office time) Hey!! the Data Migration engine is currently running and as you know it will take few more hours to complete...so I
guess I am good here :)
... s laid back & unpretensious, the people have a love of the outdoors and water, and there's plenty to do. And of course, there's lots of coffee to be had. For crying out loud, there are coffee shops/stands almost literally on every corner. It must be the most highly-charged population anywhere. No wonder they called the movie "Sleepless in Seattle". Everyone must be buzzing from caffeine highs. While at the market I found a great ...
Seattle, Washington, United States trockie... much sleep the night before the jobfair, and I was so tired from smiling and selling my soul in teh cattle market that I got to the ham, then dropped S off at class, slept in her car while she was in class, picked up nephew, got sisters car from the car place, ate some DQ, then went home and slept from 6PM to 8AM. I really did! I slept in my clothes because I had ...

We were pretty hungry after the lengthy coach ride, so Eb went into a local supermarket while I waited outside. A machine next to me dispensed cans of a beverage called 'Bubba Cola', and a large 'No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service' sign was displayed on the door of the supermarket itself. Eb eventually emerged and stated that she had found ...
Seattle, Washington, United States elsewhere... this country is as poor as his. Other people expressed racist attitudes in our time there. Angkor Wat was amazing but the weather was so hot you felt like melting. Everything was more expensive than the rest of SE Asia and the food wasn't that good. Scariest Moment Sara: Two night ...

"Last year I was a roller-skatin' waitress at the Sonic drive-in" she said, with a shake of her pretty blond head. Rocker Chris Daughtry (sexy look and sexy voice) pleased us immensely (still surprised he didn't make it to the end) and then here's Elliott Yamin, looking more relaxed than ever in jeans and baseball cap. Ah Katherine, so beautiful. Then the big moment arrived. All eyes on ...

They were desperately trying to offload the dirt by mixing it with water and pumping it overboard. Mekong Delta, Near Siagon Back in the floating market. Seattle, Washington, United States mctraxWe just spent 5 hours with William Catton, author of Overshoot. At a few weeks shy of 80 he is just as sharp as our old friend Barbara Lorie! We had planned on a 3 hour interview but what happens I think is there is a desire on my part to give these people a true hearing of what so many people have missed. He wrote Overshoot 25 years ago and we as a species are in a worse predicament than ever with few signs of slowing our crazy ways. He will contribute a ...

Rather than hurrying off like everyone else, and instead of sitting on any of the other numerous benches that were empty, she chose to sit by me. I couldn't understand why. I was so lonely and sad and didn't have an ounce of confidence left in me, yet I still felt the need to spark a conversation. "Aren't you cold?" I asked. "No, not really," she replied with a smile. "You're crazy. It's ...
Seattle, Washington, United States irishrover7Hi, I'm John.
I'm new here. I've only been in one country outside of North America (Idaho doesn't count, does it?), but that was several years ago. I'd like to travel to France, Spain, Italy, Amersterdam, Germany and, if I'm especially ambitious, Japan (though those long flights kill me). I've also been to Vancouver and Victoria, Canada; Portland, Oregon; Reno; parts of California; and the aforementioned Idaho.
