... TravelPod" is a complete pain in the a@$ to use. For our 2010 "Radical Sabbatical" trip to Asia, I'm switching to another web service.
But, I've promised myself that I'll update this blog before we leave Naples...
Ola Kala: simply, OK (in Greek). No time for lots of flap.....we're on the go. The Vatican Museums await us (and we can hardly wait to do more walking!). Enjoy the pictures and we'll fill you in on the adventure next time I make the time to sit and gab.
We're still having a grand time!!!!!
... possibly want. But I finally ended up getting him a tasteful tie with fish all over it, a travel bag for the helicopter, and a model replica of the yacht. I got that idea while we were at the Monaco Yacht show. I had to pay a rush fee, but they were able to complete it in time for his birthday.
For his birthday, Stee got himself another yacht. I knew he had been looking at it before and I was quite sure that he was going to buy it, but he announced it on his birthday, today ...
... by Tiberius to use as his vacationing, and eventually retirement home. We had lunch back at Piazza Umberto, the main square of Capri. We then visited Marina Piccola (little port), and also Anacapri, which is at a high elevation at the western end of the island. It was late afternoon, and we had to leave Capri, but we were off on ...
Capri, Campania, Italy marv.n.jo... during this season. The gardens were beautiful, and the view was spectacular. After we walked down a winding path down to the sea shore. The scenery was amazing. Then we walked back up the winding path. We walked back down to the port, and caught a jet foil back to Sorrento. The ride back was a lot rougher than going to Capri (Rigel started to feel pretty ill...). When we arrived at the port in Capri it started to pour. The ...
Capri, Campania, Italy mshulistToday we travelled from Sorrento to Capri for the day. Walked down to the ferry which took 15min and travelled to the island of Capri which took about 40 min. Once there caught the Funicular Railway from the port to main Capri area. Lots of people trying to sell tours where you get on ferry and saying easier than the queues etc. We had no problems as they weren't too bad. A bit of a squash getting on the Railway but not too bad. Worst part is ...
