    ... Park to spot moose. and low and behold we saw two..
    Stopped at the info center to let the pups out to pee...just out of the car and I spotted something jump on to Addie, yep another tick..got the little *******

    Made it thru the park and turned right at Barry's Bay to find Sunnyhill Park and drove to the end of the world but it was worth it. What a gorgeous park....right on Bark Lake. very friendly people there.

    ... a bakery in Bancroft for some sweet treats; Pecan Butter Tarts, and also the Kawartha Dairy & Ice Creamery for a delicious ice cream. We arrived at Sylvia and Rob's cottage mid afternoon. The drive up the road to their cottage was covered in snow, as well as all through the surrounding forest. Just beautiful. I had no idea what to expect, as we had to leave the car down the road from the cottage due to snow, and walk the rest of the way. That was a treat ...

    ... right of the main area and just sat in silence for a little while. It was stunning inside. Huge ceilings and stained glass set the scene. I'm not particularly religious but I can see how this kind of setting can instil belief in some kind of higher power. The fact that they managed to build this place nearly two hundred years ago is impressive enough for me.
