    ... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

    We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!


    The adventure begins

    ... the 25th year of the German reunification (1989). They were expecting thousands of people in Frankfurt and we actually ( on Saturday night) watched the major event on the TV. Dinner was at a very small local eatery where we had pork and potatoes ( of course) and wine. We sat at long wooden table with style. A neighborhood German place full of locals and fun to experience. We returned "home" and settled down for the night.

    Travel has ended BUT the memories last forever!

    ... doing this the entire two weeks~ I decided after about the tenth blister maybe I should learn how to do this while I had a great teacher! (One of my take aways from the Camino~ always be a student and be sure to pass it forward when the opportunity arises.)     ... just watching traffic go by. WHAT? That is positively bizarre behaviour! And if that isn't enough punishment, Jude and I treat ourselves to some more! We spy a diner, stop and gather our courage, and head in to explore options. It is rather late by this time so it is a little late thus we both decide to go puddings.     ... don't worry you have a few more hours before you need to start packing!). I'll end by THANKING God for the many good and few bad blessings in my life (they have all made me who I am)......for family and friends who love and encourage me..... for grace and mercy given to me everyday......and for the "God Wink" of the Camino!!!
