September 16, 2014 (Tuesday) We left Bentonville at 8:55 am to miss the traffic which we did. We arrived in Amarillo, TX at 6:30 pm. We do not travel very fast since we are pulling our PUP. ... stopped raining, but was still wet outside. We packed up and checked out - the visitors center let us pay the bill with our individual credit cards, which made splitting the cost very easy! Looked around the gift shop, then went to the other gift shop in case we missed anything. Spent some time looking at the dam and the weird trees that had grown together, then it was time to go. We hugged and said goodbye...until the next time!
