Friday Sep 20--Leaving Wittman today and driving to Pocomoke City, MD. Staying at the Elks Lodge there for two nights. We plan on seeing the wild ponies of Chincoteague. See you there.

This is a quiet July 4. Perhaps because the holiday falls in the middle of the week, there is not nearly as much traffic (boats, kayaks and jet skis) on Leeds Creek as in past years. It is hot, 90 degrees and the sun is shining, our first day without any rain for over a week. The garden is full; beds and pots are lush with blooms and the crop of weeds ...
... saying the rigger is coming now - wow.
One thing tho is I'm glad we've seen the autumn colours - it's been quite spectacular, I've included some photos - the one looking down the road is what I call an "Arty" shot - many of you just may think it's blurry (that's my excuse :) )
Well hopefully next time you hear from us we will be on the move.

... was out there throwing a stick for the dog and playing around. Of course we all said it was Michelle so i took a few pics but they are pretty far away so you can make your own minds up to who it was - it was the closet you could get at the front of the house. You will see in the pictures the sharp shooters on the roof of the White House with their telescopes. It was pretty amazing - what a life they must have to lead.
