We find the biker bar call "NO NAME SALOON - MONKEY BAR" Harley Davidson bikes and other cruisers are everywhere and there is a good proportion of lady riders too. Some of the bikes are incredible as the photos will show. We got talking to a couple of local riders Dave and Diane, they have a Harley each. Diane's bike is ...
... in the right lane. The only good thing about it was when I passed a car the wind helped me get back in the correct lane. I just had to steer! Later we found out that we were in part of the very bad weather that came through that area. Luckily we were driving away from the biggest part of the storm.
We toured Warrens and blinked once quickly and were finished with the tour! Not even time for pictures nor were there any subjects for pictures!

... are in a state like Wisconsin. The torture museum was only a mile or 2 off the road we were on. One mile from our destination, BOOM, you're in some sort of cheese curd, waterpark, tourist mecca. A 2-3 mile long strip of chachki shops, bathing suits, and Ripley's Beleive It or Nots, sneaks up on you real fast after you haven't seen anything more exciting than a non-red barn for the last 2 hours.

Sat -Rained last night in Freeport IL. Cool wet and over cast this morning. We hit the road around 7 am heading for Merrimac Ferry. The Ferry closes over the Wisconsin River back and forth every half hour or so 24/7. It holds about 15 cars and it follows 3 cables as it cross. I wanted to get to the Ferry from the south and cross over to the north side to head for Baraboo. But I came in from the North so we crossed ...
