Day 34 Saturday 4th July. Fargo to La Crosse, Wisconsin. 381 miles
We leave Fargo a little worse for wear, after a bit of drinking last night. Interstate all the way to Minneapolis - about 200 miles. We have rew stops on the way and do a steady 75mph so make good progress. Through the centre of Minneapolis, which isn't too busy. The trusty Garmon sat navs guides us well through the maze of roads.
Hello from Warrens Wisconsin. We began the day with an overcast sky. As we rode along it became very noticeable that land was flatter and we could see a long way away even with overcast skies and hazy conditions. We noticed a few windmills as we passed by then all of a sudden there were more and more. Turns out it was a windmill farm along the interstate. ... are in a state like Wisconsin. The torture museum was only a mile or 2 off the road we were on. One mile from our destination, BOOM, you're in some sort of cheese curd, waterpark, tourist mecca. A 2-3 mile long strip of chachki shops, bathing suits, and Ripley's Beleive It or Nots, sneaks up on you real fast after you haven't seen anything more exciting than a non-red barn for the last 2 hours.
