This is the little village that Stee's great-great grandfather lived in before he immigrated to the United States. Him and his parents departed from Copenhagen aboard an emigrant ship in the 1860&#8217;s set for New York's immigrant base, Castle Garden. He was only a young man during the voyage and his father died, age 46, while at sea. Him and his mother continued the voyage, and the trip to the American West without him.<br><br>What an incredibly different story the two men have had.

Today I had an all day study tour for my Nordic Mythology class. We met at 9:30 am and didn't get back until 6pm. Our first stop was in Roskilde. Roskilde was basically the Viking capital of Denmark. We checked about 0630 to head out to roskilde and set up and were at the roskilde gates by about 1030 to be greeted by a huge line up.
