      ... It's really interesting. Maybe it's always this way or maybe it's just because not that many people think of going to southern France in December. Who knows? Our time here has been a bit different. We arrived an hour early at about 6am and upon arriving at our hostel a migraine arrived in my head. So I spent my first day in France mostly in bed.       ... we were cruising through the countryside among the numerous villages that make this such a picturesque place while on our way to and from the Mediterranean. Of course a dip in the Mediterranean was a must. The water seems more buoyant and definitely warmer than many places we've swum. What a treat!

      After yesterday's rude awakening by an alarm clock I demanded a lay-in but this fortunately had tow be abandoned due to a long cuddle.
