Marseille is a nice city, with the majority of people being very polite and considerate. Its not as fast paced as some of the big cities, which makes it a lot nicer to walk the streets.

Next stop is Lyon, a 4.5 hour bus ride for a huge sum of $5. Even includes wifi and on-board toilets.

We've been so looking forward to visiting France, even though our time in Italy was fabulous.

The road weaved its way along the southern coast through mountainous terrain. We spent much of the time in ...

... The starters were cold soup with gazpacho (Marcus and me) as well as a courgette quiche (the rest). I actually preferred the quiche. The main courses were either fish of the day or lamb and we all had the latter. It came wrapped in pastry with a polenta cake and for dessert thee kids had ice cream, Bryan and I had peach Melba and the older girls had chocolate fondue. By this time it was after 10 pm, the kids ...

There was much laughter, cycling and swimming and some excellent food especially George's paella which was too die for. Sorry Weight Watchers but it was your recipe with a few added luxuries. On September 7th we decided to move. We had a long wander and it seemed a bad day but there were highlights. Henry met the love of his life, an 11 year old golden cocker called Miss Coco - a right ...
