... me, may know of my love for large beverage containers. I usually drink from a pickle jar or fishbowl at home, and the coffee pot when traveling for business. I think I may have achieved the largest container ever, here. The remote is in to provide scale. It holds about 30 oz of your favorite libation.

Here we go

A travel blog entry by alexparsons on Aug 05, 2015

Well, this is it. I am getting on the plane tomorrow to start my time with ISV. All I know up to this point on where I will be is my first two weeks of training. That will take place in Big Bear, CA, where the high is 78 and the low is 39. Just the thought of getting out of Texas (or satan's ********** some might say) is nothing short of a miracle. This place truly is terrible in ...

... them to let us come, and they finally agreed that we could bring them at 9:30pm. WHEW!

Our trip was tentatively to start about 5:30, and if we hadn't been able to get the dogs in, we would have had to wait to drop them off at 9am. SOO, the big news is that we actually left on time!! We left at 5:32, and we made it to Alamogordo by 11:15 mountain time. We ate lunch, and then we all headed to Gallup, NM. ...

I did not need a nap! The drive was about 6.5 hours i think it took me about 8 total, including several stops for gas/pee/food (not necessarily in that order). The speed limit in Texas is usually 75 which makes the drive seem like its going so fast. It wasn't 75 ...

... We are the only RV (except for the Camp Host) in this park so we picked a nice long pull-thru site. No trail walking in the park, though -- many rattlesnakes are out now with the hot weather. We're happy we can get TV here so we can watch the Cavs and Boston play this afternoon! Both days the high has been 80 degrees and the low 50 degrees with abundant sunshine. Tomorrow we will continue driving west to Toyahvale, TX. ...
