... Next we drove to the sight of another favourite family local pastime - riding on a railway bicycle - one person peddles while the other sits and enjoys the ride. First we had lunch - lamb and potatoes, but including a drink, salad and coffee and this time a yummy chocolate cake - the usual Swedish lunchtime deal. ... for supplies and after some interesting navigating between Pia and Peter trying his hand at map reading and not knowing Swedish for left and right, we eventually made it to our accomodation. We are in a cute little red summer house cabin (one of half a dozen spaced around a man made lake on a farm. We could have swum in the lake and it felt quite warm, but didn't bring the togs.

We drove to Geslaved the near by town where Pia works to go to the pharmacy, the bank and the supermarket. Pia bought some fish for tea - salmon, herring and some sauces as well. We headed home for lunch, then returned back at 3.00 for a very special annual day for the community - the prom parade.
