... br> The ride up took and hour and a half to cover the eight miles. It is mostly just straight up the mountain with grades of over 25% which is really steep. The cars had open windows to make picture taking easy, but we closed them when we neared the top. The Train Depot is at about 6500 ft elevation, and the final summit is at 14,115 ft elevation. ... are other caves in Colorado I can’t think of them. I think Wind Cave is a natural site of significant importance, but compared to the much larger cave systems I’ve visited that are preserved as national natural heritage included in the National Park System – Mammoth Cave, Carlsbad Caverns, Lehmann Caves, Wind Cave and Jewell Cave, well Wind Cave isn’t all that spectacular. It’s less a matter of the cave itself not ...

... photos, including waiting many minutes to get some pictures of the whole chapel with no people in them.

One tidbit I should mention: this chapel is the Protestant chapel. Downstairs, in the basement, are a Catholic chapel, a Jewish chapel, and a Buddhist chapel. We did not tour those as we were upstairs in the Protestant chapel right up to closing, and ran out of time. The Wikipedia link above has photos.
