The alarm was set but neither of us needed it this morning in anticipation of an early start. A hot breakfast was included in our stay at the Holiday Inn and we even managed to squirrel away some yogurt, a banana and a cinnamon bun for Louise as a snack. Before leaving, I picked up our tiny, uninvited guest whom we discovered in the bathroom and took him back out to enjoy nature. We named him Freddie Frog. How he arrived in our room is a ...

As the day wore on I watched a few films and enjoyed a coffee upstairs in the observation deck. By night I was getting tired from lack of sleep and again tried to find a comfortable way to sleep.

    I didn't do anything wrong

I woke up today at 2 am to witness something interesting. A man who was obviously intoxicating was peeing on a seat where a fellow passenger was psitting. The Canadian is a train of 20 cars and roughly a staff of 30 VIA attendants. Out of that 30, at least 12 work in the dinning car if not more. Plus some of the staff need time off since their job ...
