      While Maggie showered I checked the engine. All was okay except the alternator belt needed a slight tightening. I showered while Maggie readied the boat for travel. The cool thing about this hike was that we are right on the coast and starting to get into more southern tropical weather (although it doesn't feel like it right now) so we would walk between colorful leaves changing and evergreens and then into a tropical swamp filled with ferns and vines.
