Relax, nothing in control! Raining. Captain in cockpit, v berth is warm and dry. Beautiful coastal Carolina's. Who needs yoga when you are sailing. I do take helm in the 1-100 breaks. 8 hrs in the rain & pulling into Casper marina for nice hot shower. Finally sun shining. ...

We awoke and had showers. Ted is not to sharp today as he stayed up until 2:00 watching "his" Sun Devils play. They won, so today is a happy day, he is just tired.

We had a quick breakfast and since there is no church to be had at this end of this long Island we headed down the road to our next sight seeing spot, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. We had seen ...

We drove into Jacksonville, NC to have breakfast this morning. We needed a Cracker Barrel fix! Their menu does not vary from place to place, nor from year to year, which is a good thing. I tried the leveling jacks this morning, but still could not get the pad to turn on. The winds and rain subsided over night, but after we broke camp and headed out, it began to mist and then turned into light rain most of the way to Camp Legeune. After getting into our site, I started to use boards under the tires to try to raise one side of the coach, but decided not to since it raised it too ...

We left very early and drove to the end of Cape Hatteras to catch our first ferry. It was a short ride, only about an hour long. It dropped us at the top of Ocracoke Island and then we drove across this island where we waited for the long ferry ride (about 3 hours) to the mainland. There is only one ferry running today. Luckily we have reservations! They really packed us in too. We were unable to get out of our coach we were packed in so tight! We thought, well, ...
