... Bread if we come back for a visit. Wewoka has a Sorghum Festival the 4th Saturday each October that draws visitors from across the US. Betsy gave us a gift of sorghum and Alfalfa Blossom Honey. We may have to travel back to Wewoka for some great fry bread and friendship. Betsy is an awesome Seminole friend....

Left home about 5:45. Flight from OKC at 9:15. Arrived O'Hare 11:15. The international terminal is a totally different building so we had to go out of security, ride a tram to the international terminal and go back through security so that took awhile. Everything else was smooth. Talked to a girl while waiting at the gate who lives in Dublin and had been visiting ...

Very uneventful drive today, besides a deluge of rain as we entered Oklahoma. In about 2 minutes the temp dropped from 66 to 51 and the rain came down in buckets. One event that could be considered as almost catastrophic. Almost ...

Today we drove from Little Rock to just east of Oklahoma City. Our day started with us driving in the rain, the first time since we started this adventure. Now we know that our windshield wipers work.

... watching chennai express and I listened to a book most of the way. We entered thru Amarillo Texas, the "Driving Friendly" state. Right after Amarillo we noticed a few cars on stopped on the side next to an open field. On the far end of the field i noticed a few things sticking out with graffiti on it. I had being driving for quite a while hence could use the break. We went over and noticed it was 7-8 abandoned cars stuck upside down in the mud and people were welcome ...
