Left home about 5:45. Flight from OKC at 9:15. Arrived O'Hare 11:15. The international terminal is a totally different building so we had to go out of security, ride a tram to the international terminal and go back through security so that took awhile. Everything else was smooth. Talked to a girl while waiting at the gate who lives in Dublin and had been visiting ...

... The chariot received it's first stone chip on the front. Tomorrow we head to Groom, Tx and the sculptures of the crucifixion and then to Amarillo, TX and the Palo Duro Canyon state park. Probably have at least a few pics tomorrow.

... in the parking lot of a casino. So of course we joined their players club. We were each given $15 credit on our player cards and Greg was given an extra $10 because this is his birthday month. We played the 1 cent slot machines and I was down to my last $3 when I won $27.90 on Wheel of Fortune. Needless to say, I cashed out. Meanwhile Greg had used almost all of his $25 credit. We ended up walking away with $31.65 in our hand. Not bad. It was fun playing with free ...

... was packed and we managed to get an inside seating as new Mexico heating was rising. It was already 90 degrees Fahrenheit I.e. 32 degree Celsius. Briji had the humongous breakfast burrito smothered with red and green chille. I had the calorie rich Huevos Rancheros (popular breakfast dish consisting of eggs served in the style of the traditional large mid-morning fare on rural Mexican farms) with shoestring fries. ... A red heeler named Sunshine jumped off the back of the truck and we instantly became friends. We got to talking with Jennifer and she said she was headed our way and offered us a lift.
