... where we were in heaven for the 2 hours we were there. I have never eaten so much cheese in my life! It was amazing, but our stomachs didn't think so the next day....

Overall we absolutely loved Switzerland and are definiteily considering a trip back to snowboard on the Swiss Alps during winter. If you visit, be prepared to pay a shitload for everything or be like us a be super stingy and spend your savings on experiences instead.

... were going up. We took the gondola up to were we had been going to that morning (about 5,000 feet). Then took a train, yes train, to the very top (11,000 feet). We were above the clouds. I was in a cloud at one point riding down. It was then time to leave. It was a long bus ride back, it was also a good nap. Back on the train and through the mountain and we were back.

... which would have been even more beautiful if it had not been overcast and raining. Lots of mountains, valleys, cows and Canola Oil fields. The bright yellow flowers of the Canola Oil fields contrasted beautifully with the dark green pasture land for the cattle. Beautiful scenery.

Both Lausanne and Bern were quick stops and on to Interlaken. We got a glimpse of the beauty of the Alps as we headed from Bern to Interlaken. ...
