... really hot as we drive further north along the coast, everywhere so crowded - we stop at a bakery and have a couple of sandwiches in good French bread. After stopping at what seemed like a hundred red stop lights and even a drawbridge being raised decide better get on the interstate 95 as it's getting really tedious. ... over them before realizing what had happened! Since we had only passed through security and had not yet shown our tickets for admission to our seating area, I had to fish the tickets out of the toilet and dry them with the bathroom hand-dryer. A lot of women in the bathroom laughed at me that evening.
When we arrived at our seating area the concierge was going to take the tickets out of my hand to scan them, but I advised him that he should rather let me hold them ...
... minute of grandparenthood. We are giving suggestions only when asked for...like how to bathe a baby, how to know when to use Desitin, how to try to get the baby to sleep in his crib...and the rest of the time, we are just cooking meals, running errands, and being grateful for the opportunity we have to be with our kids and grandbaby. What a difference this time around...this is the grandparenting that we envisioned!

Peggy and I went to Radio Shack to find a new cord for her GPS. I am the navigator. My sisters would get lost without me.
In the evening we ate at Vic's Italian Restaurant. Food was good.
