It was a beautiful morning. It was the first day for about a week that there was no wind whatsoever. This coupled with the clear blue sky meant that we ate outside for breakfast. We sat for nearly an hour to make the most of the rare weather! Soon we were off to the local Golf Football course (not Football Golf sorry..) where we played 2 full rounds of 18 holes. It was extremely good fun and I will be pursing a handicap once I'm back on English soil. Again ...

Nothing much to say about today, I am just very thankful I didn't have to get on my saddle for the first time this entire trip! It was our first 'official' day off after finishing so we spent it mostly sitting down... Although we did go for a walk down to the beach to explore the German bunkers that line the coast. Back on the boat, I got on with blogging and Julie did a tidy up and clean. The guest heads will once again become our wet locker and storage area for wellies etc, and one of the guest cabins will end up being stuffed to the gills with sundry items, including deck cushions, ...

... flat and pastoral, very restful on the eye, apart that is from the ubiquitous wind turbines that dot the landscape.

After about three miles, the buoyed channel ends and the shallow Limfjord opens up for sailing opportunities. By now the current was negligible and with the sails up, we were soon clocking along at 6-7 knots in the flat calm water. This is a great piece of water to sail in, it can never get rough as it is too shallow, only a few metres deep. The ...
