I arrived on the 24th of July in the evening, after having stayed up all night because I had a 6:05 am flight from Raleigh to Houston and then to Brownsville... followed by a 5 hour bus ride from the border to Cd Victoria. 1/6/2010 - We entered Mexico about 9:00 am crossing over the bridge leading from Hidalgo Texas to Reynosa, MX. It took about two hours for our group to process paperwork for entry to Mexico. One part of the narrow two lane road in the middle of somewhere uninteresting had a stalled semi tractor trailer and an accident facing each other with less than a 30 foot gap in between. It became the damnedest 3 ring circus we have ever seen with competing forces directing traffic to the point of an unintelligible snarl (will send photos of the traffic jam later).
