How strong is Epoxy?

I dropped the Buell just a few miles after leaving our hotel and broke the clutch lever.  The bike was terrible unbalanced.  It was Sunday so nothing was open to get parts.  We applied epoxy and took a hotel room to wait for it to dry... More pics and details to be updated soon!

Hello to all, we finally made it out of the states. The doc said I could go so we left the next day. As you can see we are in ciudad victoria. It is really a nice r v campground. No one is here but us, very quite and nice and warm. It did get a little chilly last night, had to turn ...

Almost in Texas

... and head for Texas. Crossed the border yesterday near Brownsville Texas at about 2 PM just in time for the next big rain storm. The wind was substantial but Texas roads do not require advanced courses in defensive driving so we made it easily to Seawind RV resort in Riviera Texas (Near Corpus Christi). A couple days of clean up here and then to Port Lavaca to purchase and devour oysters and gulf shrimp. After that we meander west somewhere looking for dry heat and wildlife. Saludos

Heading for the Border

We left Palanque on Thursday, April 3rd, and made it to Tampico where we stayed at the Bonita Inn, the campsites were in back of their cabins. (no pictures). Friday, April 4th, we drove to Ciudad Victoria. We got lost and ended up in the mountains, it was a beautiful drive as you can see in the pictures. Friday night in Victoria ...

Ciudad Victoria RV park - Rosie's place

Planned to stay overnight but this place was lovely and we stayed two days. It was very quiet when we arrived and we met some interesting people and were able to let the dogs run loose. The landscaping and plants and trees were gorgeous. We managed to figure out the traffic and city layout eventually and left ...

Off we go into Mexico

... After crossing the border into Matamoros, we started to see, and feel, the Mexican roads. In particular, the "topes" (speed bumps) that range from not too bad to horrendous! After about a 3 hour drive, we got to Ciudad Victoria without problems and after parking and getting set up, we went exploring a little and went to the ...

We made it to Mexico

... Our # is are you ready,{0115218992311797} wow that was a long one. If anyone would like to call us just ring that #. Then we had to get gas ,Waited untill we got to Mexico as it is only 1.96 a gallon and diesel is cheaper. I wonder what is up with the high prices in the US. Then headed south, and ran into a head wind so it made for a long drive. But the good thing is we made it. Will post some pics latter on tonight after dinner. Bonnie and Bill

Cuidad Vitoria

... it took a couple of wrong turnings before we found the campsite where we are now set for the night. This morning we drove over the hills in the direction of San Luis Potosi, once again another spectacular drive. One oddity we saw was a group of pigs feeding by them selves at the edge of the road. We are used to seeing cows, goats, horses and donkeys but this was the first pigs. We are now parked up for the night at the campsite.

Under the Spell - Time warp Catorce and way beyond

Life is a great and mysterious journey and the more we think we believe we know all about it, the more narrow and limited our world becomes. One of our best friends gave us our name: Los Caballeros del Norte (The Knights Of The North) and thus we became two seekers of the Holy Grail. We wandered the dusty desert, thirsty for a meaningful taste from the great cup of life, for a sip of something . . . One thing we had really learned was to ...

On the Road Again: Creel to Estacion de Catorce

Thoroughly relaxed, cooled down, and socialized we boarded the train and headed East through the mountains to Chihuahua. At the last moment we were joined by Yugi who appeared to be a cool independent traveller with his long wild locks and bold ear piercings. He was also on the way to the mystical region of Real de Catorce. At first we were planning to take a hotel and spend the night in Chihuahua but decided to adopt Yugi's money-saving plan of an all-night ...
